Spay and Neuter Help for Cottage Grove Pets

Taking care of your pet should feel possible. PAWS helps families in Cottage Grove, Oregon and surrounding rural communities access financial assistance for spay and neuter procedures for cats, dogs, and rabbits. By making this care more affordable, we help prevent unwanted litters, support healthier pets, and give local pet owners one less thing to worry about. Simply put, spaying and neutering your pets saves lives by stopping pet overpopulation.

We’re a local nonprofit built around a simple idea: when we make responsible pet care easier to access, everybody benefits—pets, families, and the wider community. Whether you are looking for help with a voucher or hoping to support this work, you’re in the right place.

About PAWS

Paws and Whiskers Society (P.A.W.S.) is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping the animals of Cottage Grove and nearby rural communities through practical, community-based support. PAWS provides financial assistance for spay and neuter procedures, helps address feral cat overpopulation through trap-neuter-return efforts, and supports local pet owners with resources, pet food, and supplies when needed.

We know that veterinary care can feel expensive, and for many families, the cost of a spay or neuter procedure can mean putting it off longer than they want to. Through local support and community funding, PAWS helps make this care more accessible while working toward a healthier future for pets throughout our community.

How the Voucher Program Works

Getting help is easier than you might think. Our voucher program is designed to make the process of getting your pet spayed or neutered feel clear, manageable, and easy to follow.

Step 1

Fill Out The
Voucher Form

Start by filling out the voucher request form with your contact information and the participating veterinary facility you’d like to use. We keep the process simple so it’s easy to get started.

Step 2

Hear Back From PAWS

Once we receive your form, we’ll follow up with the next steps. If funding is available, we’ll help you move forward and answer any questions along the way.

Step 3

Schedule Your
Pet's Care

Once approved, you can
schedule your pet’s procedure
with the participating veterinary facility you selected. PAWS vouchers are for $100 and are only accepted at participating facilities.

Important to know before applying: PAWS provides $100 vouchers to help offset the cost of spay and neuter procedures at participating veterinary facilities. Vouchers do not cover the full cost of surgery, and pet owners are responsible for any remaining balance. We are deeply grateful to the veterinary clinics whose support helps make this program possible.
